The sun finally came out for a bit this afternoon. The girls and I took advantage of the sunshine and warmth by taking a walk along the creek. They quickly found how exciting it is to throw rocks into the water. It was captivating to watch the delight in their eyes as they watched the water spash up and the ripples expanding outward. Such an uncomplicated activity created lasting memories. The simple things we take for granted by far outlast all others.
